Skills for Life
The former "water well ministry" has transformed into Skills for Life.
We have a farm, greenhouse, and orchard where people in the community can work and harvest. Any extra produce is sold in the market. Skills for Life members who wish to further their education are sponsored similarly to the MKKs.
Starting in 2024, we will have a water truck that carries 10,000 liters of water. This truck will deliver water to cisterns in the rural area, as well as to the Skills for Life farm.
General
We have other expenses to cover as well, including salary, transportation expenses, filing fees for paperwork, and covering MKKs until they have sponsors. You may also send checks to: Maisha Kamili, ATTN: Claire Wall, 1008 County Road 219, Giddings, TX 78942.
Maisha Kamili is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. All gifts are tax deductible.

It is such an encouragement to us when partners from the US visit us, experience life in this country with us, and get to know first hand what we do day-to-day. It would be difficult to overstate the value of this kind of fellowship.
If you want to be involved with the MKKs, the best time to visit us is in April, when we have our annual MKK Camp for high schoolers. We conduct it in a style similar to a Disciple Now and would love to have guests lead sessions or games with the MKKs.
The leaders of the Kenya side of the organization need a retreat to refresh them both physically and spiritually and to promote team building. If this is your thing, talk to us about coming to lead us in a retreat!
