Isaiah 60:1-3
1 Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth,
and thick darkness the peoples;
but the Lord will arise upon you,
and his glory will be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall come to your light,
and kings to the brightness of your rising.
The next four Sundays are the four Sundays of Advent. I want to use these as themes for our prayers.
Hope is central to the vision of Maisha Kamili: to give orphans in coastal Kenya hope for the future through a relationship with Jesus Christ. As you focus on hope this Advent season, pray that we will remain true to our vision and that the MKKs will indeed have hope and relationships with Jesus.
